Face Fit blinds, usually attach to the part of the window frame facing you. Measure the outside width of your window at the top, middle, and bottom and record the widest measurement. Decide whether to mount blinds on the window frame or determine the desired amount of overlap. Typically, an overlap of at least 50mm on each side for a Frameless window is suitable.
For Recess fit blinds, start by measuring the inside width of the frame at three points: the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement. Please note that the unit of measurement is millimetres.
For Recess fit blinds, a minimum depth of 70mm is recommended.
To measure the drop of the window for Recess fit blinds, measure the height from top to bottom inside your window frame at the left, centre, and right. Note down the smallest drop(height) measurement
For Face fit blinds, measure from the top of the window frame to the desired length where you want the blinds to hang.
For a Frameless window with roller blinds, measure the height of the window glass accurately from edge to edge. Add at least 50mm to both the top and bottom measurements. This ensures that the roller blind will fully cover the window and allows for proper installation
Please provide exact details. You don't need to do any deductions because we will do that for you to facilitate easy movement within the frame. Consider that usually there is a 15mm gap between the recess and blind in recess fit blinds to help it move easily.
