If you only want to cover the window and not the entire wall with curtains, once you have obtained the window width measurement, calculate 30% (1/3)of that width and add at least 30% to the window width to ensure they can be fully opened without obstructing the window

To measure the drop, first decide whether you want to mount the curtain to the wall or the ceiling 

 

Then , start by measuring theheight of the wall from thedesired height where youwant the curtains to hang tothe floor. You can measurewindow height from the topof the window frame to thefloor in the left, centre, andright and record the largestmeasurement as your drop.Then add the desired wall amount toit

Above floor: Subtract 10mm

from measured drop

Touching floor: Subtract 5mm

from measured drop

Puddling effect: Add 25mm to the

measured drop for extra fabric
